Peter Wandera
Executive Director
He has been working at Transparency International Uganda (TIU) as the ED since 2012 to date. Prior to joining TIU, Mr Wandera worked for 12 years at the Development Network of Indigenous Voluntary Associations as the Assistant Executive Director.He had previously worked in the coffee industry for 10 years. His current position at TIU has greatly enhanced his interest in Public Accountability.
Francis Ekadu
Director Programs
He holds an MA in Development Studies and a BA in Social Work and Social Administration. He has attended various short trainings covering topics such as M&E, finance management, participatory planning, and leadership development. At TIU,he oversees the development, implementation, reviews, and reporting of organization projects. He served as a Development Educator at the Soroti Catholic Diocese, Integrated Development Officer focusing on capacity building for diocesan projects.
Nambi Barbara
Director HR and Admin
She is the Director HR and Admin, a position she acquired in 2018. She has previously held the positions of HR Coordinator 2013 – 2018 & Admin Officer /cashier in since 2004. She provides strong administrative support to the organization, coordinates recruitment & selection processes, and develops strategies for effective team mgt. She holds, a Post Graduate Diploma in HR Development and Management from UMI and a certificate in Oil and Gas from PETRAD in Norway and a Bachelor’s Degree from Makerere University
Lillian Zawedde
Program Coordinator
She is a Ugandan graduate of Information Science from Makerere University (MUK) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Governance from Uganda Management Institute (UMI). She possesses over 13 years of experience in governance obtained from the anti-corruption CSOs worked with. Lilian joined TIU in 2015 as the Communication Officer. She currently works as a Program Coordinator in charge of several projects implemented in the organization.
David Kizito
Program Officer
With a strong background in Public Policy and administration, David Kizito Curently Serves as a program Officer with over 10 years experience in Governance, Accountability and community Mobilisation. He has undertaken special trainings in Anti corruption under the Transparency International School on Integrity From Mykolas Romeris Univerity in Vilnius Lithiuania, Power and Voice from MS TCDC and Anti Corruption for the SDG Agenda by the UNSSC.

she joined TIU in 2017 and has served in several positions where she has exhibited dedication and excellence. She is currently the National Anti Corruption Call Center administrator and her zeal and determination has enabled vulnerable persons access justice. she Holds a Barchelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Kyambogo University and has attended vast Capacity Exchange Programs in different African Countries on operation of Advocacy and Legal Advice Centers (ALAC).

Rosemary’s Financial Management experience stretches for over 20 years from both the public and private sector. Since Joining TIU in 2018, Rosemary has ably strived to improve the organisations’ financial Management Systems. She is a Team player, target setter and an achiever with a results-oriented attitude.
Brenda Ireo

She joined the TIU team in 2014 where she is still working to-date as a Project Manager. She has headed projects focusing on development and public accountability in different sectors to include; Health, Education, Extractive industries and Public Procurement. She holds a Post- Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from UMI and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University.

She is a dedicated Christian, result oriented, servant leader and manager with over 8 years’ experience in the Human Resource Management with proven ability to manage personnel and programs, improve processes, and accomplish objectives.
She has demonstrated constant interest in learning and specialised in HR related field.

Padde Auku Gerald
Program Manager
He is a Program Manager at TIU, with extensive experience in development work. He coordinates anti-corruption studies, supports various initiatives involving CBOs, CSOs, and government agencies, and has authored papers and articles on corruption in Uganda. Gerald holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies and certificates in Project Management and Advocacy Strategy Development. Prior to TIU, he worked as a researcher at Hopan Consulting Group.
