That is; : Otara P\/S, Odoro P\/S, Apua P\/S and Oketkwer P\/S for Aromo S\/C while Abunga P\/S, Opem P\/S, Barr P\/S and Obot P\/S for Barr S\/C.<\/p>\n<p>The project monitors the utilization of Capitation Grants at the target schools in order to ensure that there is transparency and accountability of the funds in line with the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Education (MoE). The project also implements interventions aimed at managing conflicts within the target schools.<\/p>\n<p>The overall goal of this project is to enhance social accountability for improved service delivery in the education sector.<\/p>\n<p>The project outcomes are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthened community engagements with government to promote accountability in selected primary schools in Lira district.<\/li>\n<li>Improved accountability of the education sector funds at local government level.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthened feedback and complaint mechanisms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row center_row=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1724840504533{margin-top: -25px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-6 vc_col-md-6&#8243;]<div class=\"zozo-parallax-header margin-bottom-0\"><div class=\"parallax-header content-style-default\"><h2 class=\"parallax-title text-left\" style=\"color:#215da6;\">Climate Governance and Integrity Program (CGIP)<\/h2><div class=\"parallax-desc default-style text-left\"><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transparency International Uganda (TI-Uganda) in partnership with Transparency International Secretariat is implementing a Waverly Street Foundation (WSF) funded project titled \u201cClimate Governance and Integrity\u201d implemented in 2 districts of Soroti and Kalungu.<br \/>\nThe overall goal of the project is; \u201cEnhanced transparency, inclusivity and accountability of climate policy and governance frameworks so that climate efforts are shielded from corruption, and reach the groups most vulnerable to climate change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This project is summarised under the following three outcome areas;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Climate Policy &#8211; Policy making processes relating to climate action are more transparent, accountable and inclusive<\/li>\n<li>Climate Action &#8211; Improved accountability, integrity, and oversight of climate-related action globally and locally<\/li>\n<li>Climate Justice &#8211; Improved justice outcomes for victims of environmental crime &amp; corruption.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The project is predominantly concerned with safeguarding global efforts to tackle climate change; this includes promoting transparency, equity and accountability in how climate finance is governed and utilized for adaptation and mitigation, as well as allocations for loss and damage.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-6 vc_col-md-6&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2458&#8243; img_size=&#8221;540 x 430&#8243; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]The global effort to address climate change is largely contingent on the protection and sustainability of the environment, and actions that impact the environment invariably also impact climate action. This project thus focuses more broadly on policy and action that has the potential to significantly affect climate action; including interrelated sectors such as energy transition, environmental protection, transport and extractive industries.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row center_row=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1499690213612{padding-top: 0px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-4 vc_col-md-12&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2454&#8243; img_size=&#8221;514 x 500&#8243; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column el_class=&#8221;section-spacing-1024&#8243; offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-8 vc_col-md-12&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #2163b1;\">Stopping Impunity for Corruption through Enhanced Accountability (SICEA).<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This project is funded by Transparency International Secretariat. It aims at building communities of practice in sub-regions of Africa that promote anti-corruption reforms and leverage existing accountability mechanisms to reduce impunity for corruption actors, to enable CSOs in Africa to engage with relevant legal accountability mechanisms and strengthen their evidence-based advocacy efforts to advance anti-corruption reforms in Africa more effectively.<\/p>\n<p>These objectives will be achieved through trainings on independent accountability mechanisms and advocacy, evidence generation and evidence-based advocacy and learning exchanges.
