Transparency International Uganda (TIU) is a national chapter of Transparency International – the Global Coalition against corruption.
It was founded in 1993 to bring together the voluntary initiatives of citizens to enhance accountability, transparency, and integrity amongst all Ugandans. Its jurisdiction is nationwide and addresses all forms of corruption with a specific emphasis on improved service delivery and good governance.
In order to achieve its mission and vision, Transparency International Uganda among other activities conducts research on key governance issues affecting Uganda in all regions Central (Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono. Mubende and Masaka) Western (Mbarara, Bushenyi, Kabale and Kabarole) Eastern (Iganga, Jinja, Mbale, Soroti and Busia) Northern (Oyam, Lira, Gulu, Arua and Nakapiritpirit) to design evidence-based advocacy strategies.
One of such research projects is the Uganda Bribery Index- a survey that records bribery experiences from citizens as they interact with key public institutions.
With Funding from the Democratic Governance Governance Facility, TIU is therefore inviting proposals from highly motivated consultants (individuals, groups or consultancy firms) to analyze the Uganda Bribery Index (UBI) data NOT LATER THAN 15TH NOVEMBER 2019 . Follow this oink to download a copy
