Terms of Reference for Training

Transparency International Uganda with funding from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) through Collaboration of International ICT Policy in East and Southern Africa (CIPESA) to is aiming to further her work in governance and social accountability using ICT in a project titled “ICT4Health Service Delivery” in the districts of Lira and Oyam.  The project seeks to reach the two top line objectives namely;

  1. Increased citizen participation in governance and the realization of human rights through ICT
  2.  Improved transparency and accountability of governments through ICT with overall objective of improving health service delivery in Northern Uganda.

The project is focusing on giving skills and knowledge to the civic groups like  the women, PWDs and citizen journalists to use ICT effectively for accessing and sharing information, advocating and raising awareness on service delivery, equality, human rights and freedom of speech.

TIU is therefore seeking services of an experienced resource person to conduct trainings for the journalists, women and PWDs on the use of ICT to access and share information and promote  social accountability.
